My Nano is Broken!

ARRRG! My ipod nano isn't working. It's stuck on hold and I've tried everything to fix it, but to no avail. It just sucks since it's a crucial part of my exercise routine. Music is essential, but I could always use my itouch for music. However, I need my nano for my Nike+ pedometer (I know you can use the Nike+ with an itouch also, but I have a first gen itouch, so it's incompatible). I really love using the Nike+ thing, cause I love seeing the data on how far I've run, how fast I've run, how many calories I've burn, how many runs I do in a week/month/year. I love seeing data like that - it must be the scientist in me. Essentially, it's my main motivator. And now that it's stopped working, my running has become less and less frequent. I really need to get it fixed, but I'm abroad and it's not like I know where to get it fixed. Also, since it's out of warranty, I think it'll cost just as much to get it fixed as it is to get a new nano. Sadness all around.

Weigh-In: Week 13

Well, the minute amount of pounds that I lost last week, I've gained back. Boo! I haven't really been doing anything - exercising wise - so it's understandable. I'm finding it really difficult to keep up a regular exercise routine whilst I'm abroad.

Weigh-In: Week 12

You know I was surprised how much I missed walking. I never thought I would be that girl who had to run - although I secretly wished I was. The treadmill is finally fixed, so I can once again start running. Yipee! If I was at home, I would run outside, but since I'm currently abroad right now, I can't really go running outside - no one really does it here. And the park is far from where I am staying. So I am ecstatic that the treadmill is fixed.

Unfortunately though, this week I've gain inches, But I did lose some pounds, but barely any. It's probably because my exercise routine hasn't been as strenuous as usual.

Weigh-In: Week 11

So, this week has been pretty tough. I'm overseas, in Asia, visiting family and it's kind of difficult maintaining my normal workout schedule. So it kinda sucks. And I don't know why, but I feel more fat here than usual. Well...maybe I know why, cause the girls here are so skinny. Seriously, I was looking at a picture of me and some of my relatives and their legs are probably the size of my arm. Not good for my self esteem. And it kinda sucks that I can't go running like usual to deal with the frustration! Arg!

Weigh-In: Week 10

Well, this week was great, I'm working out more and losing weight, but I'm gaining in inches.

Weigh-In: Week 9

So, finally I'm in my fitness groove. I've done some light yoga everyday this week as well as wogging (a combination of walking and jogging) and strength training. But I did allow myself a day of rest from strenuous activity in order to allow my body to recover.
Well my hard work paid off, cause I lost a pound this week and for the first time since I've started this fitness odyssey, my overall weight loss is finally negative. Woo Whoo!
The only thing that I'm concerned about is the fact that I'll be traveling abroad at the end of next week and I'll be over there for at least a month - if not longer. Hopefully I'll be able to keep up with a regular exercise routine when I'm over there.
